Caution — startup PR ahead. It seems that homemade cloth masks are at least as good as surgical masks.

Israeli startup Sonovia Ltd, the developer of anti-pathogen, anti-bacterial fabric and textiles, says lab tests have shown that the company’s face masks can neutralize over 90 percent of the coronavirus. Gee — I wonder if the Sonovia investors’ read the CDC data during their due diligence.

The CDC reports:

“The aerosol filtering efficiency of different materials, thicknesses, and layers used in properly fitted homemade masks was recently found to be similar to that of the medical masks that were tested “
