We are bombarded on social media with people posting on how to start, develop and run a tech startup.

I’m not sure, but I think that we have reached a tipping point in lack of relevance on LinkedIn.

The general vibe goes something like this:

He Started At 52 And Just Raised $100M To Disrupt The Health Insurance Industry

This is a founder who has taken a startup full cycle and is now on his second big adventure. During our time on the Podcast, Mark shared how he found his sweet spot in business, the differences between starting a company in your 20s vs 50s, the importance of having alternatives and enough capital for the journey, as well as what he has found the most important catalyst for scaling a successful company.
Determination & Finding What You Love Doing

The implication is that if you are determined and love your work, you will succeed.

Maybe. Maybe not.

Posture is everything.

Here is another one:

As Founder, remote workforce trends call for your security teams to rethink how they provide secure access for increasingly distributed teams. There are 5 vital building blocks to help your team improve on the fundamentals of risk-based cybersecurity. Download the white paper & view the Cyber Risk Posture Assessment to bolster cybersecurity at FlaskData. Covering: ✔️ Cloud services and applications ✔️ Connected IoT ✔️ Software-defined networks ✔️ 5G-enabled innovation

I’m not sure what’s going on — but the buzz-word density is really high.

Join me in boycotting startup porn.

If you agree — give me 40 claps!
